Exclusive Miniature Dolls and OOAK Sculptures Netherlands . I started making miniature dolls in 2003. I bought a doll kit just to see if I would like it. Obviously I loved making the doll and, from that moment on, I got hooked. After two years I decided to submit my dolls at IGMA and I was rewarded Artisan Status in 2005.
My name is Annemarie Kwikkel-Smit and I am from the
The last couple of years I started sculpting dolls as well and I am now making most of my own molds for porcelain. I guess I have my skills in my blood, because both my father and grandfather were tailors. I just applied it to miniature scale.
I love doing all kinds of dolls, from sculpted class children to a porcelain Edwardian lady. I think my favourite era is late Victorian/Edwardian. All my Dolls are unique and they will never be made again. I try to give my dolls a personality, like they are real but just very small. With each doll I make I try to improve my skills and I love a good challenge.
My dolls are available through my website and I have a mailing list you can join if you like to be notified when new dolls become available. Commissions are welcome.
