Barbara Stanton, IGMA fellow, is an award winning international artist from California, USA, who specializes in miniature oil paintings.
Inspired by the beauty of the world around her, always aware of her environment and looking for the moment in time she wishes to capture on her tiny canvases. Many of her paintings depict the local landscape around Livermore, California. She also travels several times a year to find new landscapes to collect for reference. She and her husband, like to find pristine wilderness areas in their four wheel drive Jeep. She uses the camera and sketch pad to gather reference material for future paintings but relishes the moments that she can paint on location.

Limited addition prints are an affordable alternative to the serious collector. Each reproduction is the exact size of the original. Scanned from the original oil painting and printed on a color laser copier, not more than 35 copies have been made of each image. Many of the original paintings that these copies were made from have been sold to private collectors and can no longer be duplicated in this way. You can purchase them already framed in a simple wooden miniature frame or unframed, so you can put them in a frame you already own.
