Julia Connett...
I started painting in miniature after moving to Kent in the 1980's. I joined a group of very talented miniaturists and wanted to contribute something different. As there was no artist amongst them I decided that would be my role.
I find painting very relaxing and over the years my work has greatly improved and when it's going well, very rewarding! Now I also make things to go in an artists' studio, equestrian items and miniature flower arrangements as well as prints of my paintings in 1/12th and 1/24th scale.
My next project will be 1/48 hopefully!
