Minibydesign...

I am a Certified Public Accountant (non-practicing) and reside in High Point, North Carolina, USA.  High Point is known as the furniture capital of the world and hosts the International Furniture Market two times per year.  I have been interested in the miniature world my entire life from scale plastic models, to train sets, and finally dollhouses.  My first dollhouse kit was about 10 years ago.

Ten years of building traditional stock dollhouse kits led me to design and build a contemporary dollhouse from scratch.  The three year project made me aware of the extremely limited supply of modern and contemporary 1/12 scale furniture.  As a result, I designed and made several pieces for my house.  I am taking the next step to make these designs available to the miniature community.  I believe the next generation of miniaturists will have an interest in more modern design.  If we miniaturists build it they will come.
